IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR THE 2014-2015 SCHOOL YEAR:
Children must be provided with an afternoon snack from home. Please label a snack with 'KA' and inform your child to save the item(s) for the after school program.
CELL PHONE POLICY
Children may have cell phones; however, they are to be kept in backpacks unless otherwise specified. This will ensure that all communication with parents goes through the KA staff so that they may provide quality care to your child.
Brain Power Hour Each day we will be doing a half an hour of homework that begins with a brain based activity to help children gather focus. If children do not have homework, they will complete their required reading for the day (PLEASE SEND YOUR CHILD WITH READING MATERIAL)
There will be a pizza party at the end of each month to celebrate our hard work.
We are going to have a great year!!!
Also, I have created our very own Kids Adventures@ Vanguard Facebook page for our amazing kids at Vanguard so make sure to LIKE our page. You will be able to see updates and pictures of your kids, updated flyers, and check in on your child. You will also be able to view which location we are at on full days and have a copy of break schedules.
If you have any question please don't hesitate to call.
